Washington State University Vancouver HR Society 

MISSION: To foster an inclusive environment that expands and empowers HR knowledge, builds employable skill sets, and advance career opportunities by connecting with other HR professionals.

The HR Society Club Meetings provide attendees with an open and supportive learning environment where you can build your own personal leadership network and engage in many volunteer opportunities.

Description: The Washington State University Vancouver (WSUV) Human Resource Society is dedicated to the professional development of students pursuing Human Resources careers in personnel administration, hiring, training, compensation and benefits, as well as employee and labor relations. The HR Society is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) through sponsorship by the Southwest Washington Society of Human Resource Management (SWSHRM,) the local SHRM chapter.

The student club is a group that meets regularly to develop career knowledge and job readiness through networking, professional workshops, liaison with the local HR professionals and the local SHRM chapter. The HR Society promotes opportunities for internships and career as well as degree path mentorship.
