Washington enacted landmark legislation on Paid Family and Medical Leave. Many employers have asked- how does the new law apply to them?  Join Bob Batttles, the Association of Washington Business General Council and Government Affairs Director Employment Law, in a discussion on the new Paid Family and Medical Leave law.

As an attendee you will learn details regarding what the new legislation and agency rulemaking requires of employers and employees. We will review the elements of the new law and provide insight into why certain provisions were included. You will also learn what you as an employer should be doing now to prepare for the upcoming implementation of the law. This will include a review of the recent agency rules that have and will be adopted by the Employment Security Department.
